Family Engagement Framework, A Guide for Illinois School Districts, Schools and Families, Draft

This report, developed jointly by the Illinois State Board of Education, the American Institutes for Research, and the Academic Development Institute, provides a comprehensive guide to developing systemic school-family partnerships to support student learning and development.   It includes a review of the research, principles and standards, guiding questions for development and implementation, and federal legislative and regulatory authorities (Titles I and III of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
