Developing Interagency Agreements: Four Questions to Consider

This brief discusses various possible purposes of interagency collaboration and MOUs, the internal cross-agency and external relationships that undergird them, effective implementation, language, and contents.  It provides a checklist for interagency agreement planning.  It is based on information obtained from interviews with stakeholders in effective interagency agreements promoting integrated employment and from a national survey of supported employment program managers in state Vocational Rehabilitation agencies.
